About the event

Veronica Riera-Gilley and Soojin Jun are pharmacists who have a passion for improving the quality of life and death for their patients. They chose to host a Virtual Death Cafe together so that they could hold space for people to have important conversations about death. A Death Cafe is a group directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives or themes. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counselling session. Death Cafes are always offered on a not for profit basis, in an accessible, respectful and confidential space, and with no intention of leading people to any conclusion, product or course of action. For more information on the Death Cafe movement visit https://deathcafe.com/
